Ongoing projects

We believe that biomes are living bridges between species, cultures and generations. Our purpose is to break down artificial boundaries and reconnect what should never have been separated: biodiversity, ecosystems and human beings. We believe that it is possible to live in a more harmonious and respectful way with the planet — and that the wisdom of nature is an essential guide for this.
For decades, we have acquired and preserved land, protecting entire ecosystems as a commitment to future generations. We develop projects that respect the time and rhythm of nature, promoting knowledge, dialogue and regenerative actions. We recently strengthened this mission with the creation of the Biomes Connections Institute, an initiative dedicated to integrating science, culture and community in the defense of life in its purest and most interdependent state.
We are proud to present some of our completed projects — initiatives that have given nature a voice, inspired change, and driven new sustainable practices. These are actions that, in addition to protecting, educate, and connect. Each one of them is the result of our continuous effort to learn from the teacher Mother Nature.
Ushuaia Botanical Garden Development Project, Argentina
This work is the result of two enriching experiences: on the one hand, the learning of peaceful coexistence with the forest, the stream and the fauna, which we have built over the twenty years of presence of the Nuria Tierra del Fuego Civil Association, on the Bairro Dos Banderas property, where the Ushuaia Botanical Garden project is currently being developed.

Consultancy in the design and implementation of a Botanical Garden in Los Silencios, Sumampa, Santiago del Estero, Argentina

Biomes Connections Institute collaborates with the Los Silencios Reserve, a conservation project for the Chaco forest and the Quichua-Santiago culture that inhabits this region of the American Chaco, one of the last dry subtropical forests on the planet. Biomes Connections Institute is currently advising the reserve on developing a long-term management plan, establishing objectives and channels of interaction with the local community, creating collaborative ties with foundations and educational institutions in the region, and consolidating a strategic alliance with the University of Santiago del Estero for research and extension projects for the School of Forest Sciences.
Design and implementation of the Cancun Botanical Garden, Quintana Roo, Mexico

Combining knowledge to make a garden flourish in Cancun
The idea of creating a garden in Cancún was born from the union of diverse knowledge. The Biomes Connections Institute, the Government of Cancún and the University of Bochum joined forces to investigate the environmental, cultural and sustainable attributes that would bring the project to life.
Based on a solid foundation of mutual trust, the initial ideas were refined with sensitivity and dialogue, until the essence of the proposal was revealed: a Mayan Medicinal Garden, a space for healing, memory and connection with ancestral nature.
Consultancy on the design and concept of a Botanical Garden in Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates
Our Vision of Sustainability
We believe that sustainability in the 21st century arises from the connection between all biomes and their ecosystems, recognizing human beings as an integral part — and not just observers — of this vital balance.
This broader vision has driven us to expand our operations into the ancient territory of Asia. Immersing ourselves in its cultures through biomes is an invitation to let go of pre-established concepts and open up to the universe of others. We believe that we can only truly care for what we know. It is this awareness that inspires and guides our path.

Consulting for conceptualization and implementation of the Blumenau Botanical Garden - Santa Catarina - Brazil

Brazil is a leader in plant biodiversity, with many endemic and endangered species, such as Siphocampylus baccae and S. sevegnaniae. The destruction of ecosystems due to agricultural and urban expansion exacerbates this risk. Botanical gardens work to preserve, create green areas and raise awareness, promoting knowledge and sustainable management of our biomes.
Consultancy for the requalification of Hortus Luranensis, in Lombardy, Italy
Mission
Preserve history and conserve natural and cultural heritage, with a focus on the restoration and continued care of the flora of Horto Luranensis. We promote science, education, culture and the appreciation of nature.
Vision
Connecting past and present to inspire a more empathetic and conscious future — essential for new generations.

Collaboration with the Reforestation Program in Kern County, California, USA

OASIS
Our borders
Blue oak forests form the lower boundary between valley grasslands and mid-elevation coniferous forests, where they are frequently exposed to drought and wildfires.
How we work collaboratively with our field
We collect and replant acorn seedlings in protective cages to protect them from being eaten and trampled by animals.
In Vitru Reproduction Laboratory - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
With the increasing loss of biodiversity driven by agricultural and urban expansion, aggravated by environmental disasters such as fires, floods and earthquakes, in vitro reproduction laboratories are emerging as crucial tools for the preservation of endangered and threatened species. Surprisingly, with relatively low investment, these laboratories demonstrate promising results in the germination of plant species. Our work consists of promoting and promoting the creation and improvement of these essential equipment.

Kulturzentrum Hochholzen - Bavaria - Germany

Species Richness
Kulturzentrum Hochholzen - Bavaria
Here grows a species-rich natural perennial meadow, with over 30 native species of wildflowers, wild herbs and grasses.
It serves to promote and preserve a diverse and regional plant and animal world, which has developed over centuries in the interaction between agriculture and nature.
For countless butterflies, wild bees, many other insects and small animals, it represents an important habitat.
Green Bank - Innovation in sustainable capital
Traditionally, banks raise funds from those who have excess funds and lend them to those in need, who then pay the interest that returns the capital and the bank itself. In an increasingly concentrated economy, this logic of capital disconnected from its social and environmental responsibilities has contributed, along with other factors, to an unprecedented imbalance on our planet.

As we contemplate the perpetual movement of nature, we are struck by the unparalleled speed of technological progress in our era. We are living in a time of profound transformation, where old certainties are being dissolved and new possibilities are emerging. Our vision is to connect the wealth of traditional knowledge with the power of artificial intelligence, giving it a more compassionate voice and a focus on sustainability. We believe that cooperation gives us the resilience we need to navigate change, just as nature adapts to diversity. We are committed to being fully present in every moment. The future unfolds in the now, and the essence lies in living it intensely.
Quaternity – Mind Sport
We promote the practice of Quaternity, created by Arif Ali Shah, in natural environments.
The Quaternity Project is a vibrant ecosystem where innovation, and collaboration converge to create transformative impact. Rooted in the games core principles, it embodies the essence of 21st-century thinking by maintaining a fluid, dynamic environment in which ideas and people flow freely, cross-pollinating across technology, education, sustainability, and well-being. This seamless exchange not only fuels creativity but also reinforces a robust, interconnected structure comprising a limited company, a foundation, and a clubs organization. Together, these elements form a network that mirrors the adaptability and strategic depth of its inspirational game, ensuring that the project remains a forward-thinking catalyst for innovative problem-solving and holistic advancement.
